Product Warranty

We, Nook Furniture, strive to design and manufacture products using only high-quality materials and components that align with our values and our focus will only be on you, our customers! If anything was to go wrong, we’ve got you covered with our warranty.

Nook Furniture offers a 2-year warranty covering any physical damage, major blemishes or manufacturing defects in both the material and production of our products when they are used in the usual course and their intended purpose. The warranty begins on the day that you receive your product. The warranty is only specified to you, the purchaser, and cannot be transferred to another person. The warranty can only be offered directly to the purchaser while being a resident in Australia.

Unfortunately, our warranty does not cover the following matter,

  1. Normal wear and tear, including minor fading, stains, piling, softening and discolouration of the product that does not interfere with its performance and intent of use.
  2. Minor changes to the setting of the foam or cushioning layers that may cause visible indentations.
  3. Damage caused by careless use, storage, cleaning, treatment or otherwise caused by your acts and intentions.
  4. Slight variation in colours in products, small patterns or spots and minor gap in plywood and minor imperfection in our solid wood furniture.
  5. Damage caused by altering or modifying the product or where the product is used in an improper manner/ or not for its intended purpose.
  6. Defects that we brought onto your attention upon purchasing the item.
  7. The item has not been purchased directly from The Couch Potato
  8. The product is used outdoors.
  9. Products used for commercial purposes.

Please contact our friendly support team by phone or email to arrange the claim. You must retain proof of purchase for any warranty claims.

The benefits provided by our warranty are in line with the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. As a customer, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the items repaired or replaced if the item fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
